Thanks guys. I got all this printed out and ready. I am definitely getting a new heat sink and fan; this stock one is kinda crappy. I'm looking for a better one now. I have on older all copper one that is awesome but it won't fit this board.

Just to let you know, if you can spare the money, go for one that has a sold contact plate that doesn't have Direct Heatpipe Touch. That way you can lap the thing and get a really good seat. Otherwise go for the HDT-s1283 since it is cheap and really awesome performance. You cannot lap it, but you can lap your processor for a better seat. FYI, the shinier and more of a mirror finish you get, the better the seat will be. Also, you need to have a really flat surface to do it on. There are tons of guides on the web on how to lap, but good luck trying to find the sandpaper to do it with...

Scythe SCMNJ-1000 80mm Sleeve ("NINJA MINI" CPU Cooler) I have a big LED Fan on the side of my case and didn't want to even consider the big version of this. They don't make the full-copper version anymore I guess cause I can't find one. They also have an all-in-one water cooler that's super cheap: XIGMATEK AIO-S80DP All-in-one liquid cooling system But it's not rated for my processor. Not really one for water cooling but figured with an all-in-one there'd be like zero chance of leaks.

Damn that's pretty cool hazycheetah. If anything I'll maybe think of going to like 3.4.... I use this pc for video rendering so I wouldn't want to go too high because it runs at load for about 10-14 hours a day depending on how lazy I'm feeling.

Looking at what you sent me--below--I would have to go all the way up to 4.00B in the area indicated (System Memory Multiplier) for my RAM clock to go up to 1066... Is that too high? Right now it shows 800 800 as the setting next to MHz Also the DRAM Timing Selectable should it be Auto or Manual? *Here are the exact specs for this RAM from newegg Kingston HyperX Model KHX8500AD2K2/4G Type 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Tech Spec Capacity 4GB (2 x 2GB) Speed DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Cas Latency 7 Timing 7-7-7-20 Voltage 2.0V Multi-channel Kit Dual Channel Kit Recommend Use High Performance or Gaming Memory* [What you sent] Advanced Clock Control [Press Enter] CPU Clock Drive...........................: 800mV<<< PCI Express Clock Drive.................: 900mV<<< CPU Clock Skew (ps)....................:0 <<< MCH Clock Skew (ps)...................: 0<<< DRAM Performance Controlhttp://forums.nonewbs.com/index.php Performance Enhance...................: [standard] Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.).....: Disabled (G)MCH Frequency Latch...............: Auto >>System Memory Multiplier ..............: 2.00 (if that isn't it, try 2.66 for 1066) (try to set this so that the ram is as close to stock as possible)<< Memory Frequency (Mhz) ..............: 1066 >>DRAM Timing Selectable ................: (SPD)<< Standard Timing Control CAS Latency Time........................ 6 6 tRCD ......................................... 6 6 tRP'........................................... 6 6 tRAS.......................................... 18 18 Try those timings to see if they work, if possible, knock them down to 5-5-5-18

No, if it takes to 4.00B to get to 1066 or to get to a 1:1, then that is good. As long as when you go to CPU-z and you get a 1:1 Dram:FSB ratio, your good. Keep your ram in manual and try to get the timings at or below stock (this may take some trial and error, along with some time but is worth it). If it is below stock speeds, that is fine because if it is 1:1, that is where you will get the most stable, highest OC >.> I am still a newb at OC, but this is from what I have learned on my own and asking around. Do not be afraid if you get a BSOD, that is what happens if your PC is OC too high, or some tettings are not right. DO NOT LET YOUR TEMPS GO OVER 70C!!!!! Try to keep them around 65C at a max load. It will insure you will have a proc of some time (that is as long the vcore isn't too high).
And as for you hazy, good OC, but try and see what happens when you do a prime95 blend test overnight (or for at least 2 hours). That will definitely tell you if it is stable. Pics of my stable OC are attached
