Hello, I am trying to get 4ghz 24/7 stable, but at 1.37vcore and 1.35vtt it sometimes won't boot up or randomly crash when it wakes up from sleep from a long time.
__________________Do you think that if I try 1.35vtt and 1.4vcore in cpu-z and it is stable that it is a good idea? I mean probably in 8 months I can get an e8400 for $100 right? So if it lasts for about maybe 1 or 2 years I will be happy. So is 1.4vcore cool for an e7200?

You tested the system at stock to see if it has issues coming out of sleep mode? 1.4v is fine.

Yes, it should be fine. Page 17 of this data sheet lists 1.45v as the maximum safe voltage for that processor. Keep it under that, and you're good.

Yeah, I've been running 3.6ghz for about 7 months at 1.27vcore with no problems. But 3.8 and above seems to have problems, so I'm thinking probably more vcore.
__________________Sweet, I will try 1.4 when I get home. It lasted at 4ghz 1.37vcore but crashed this morning when waking up from sleep and it wouldn't boot the next try at the same volts so I backed down to 3.6.

1.4 is fine just watch your temps, as they will go up with a volt increase.
I don't think the sleep mode thing is a CPU stability problem, its a Vista Problem. I have the same problem.....if I enter Sleep mode twice or more than once per session the system restarts. I never had this problem with XP.

Well, after it crashed from sleeping and rebooted, it crashed while booting into Windows, but I was late for work and I didn't have time to mess with it so I backed it down to 3.6ghz and it booted up fine.

If you have decent tempatures voltage isn't much of a problem, the problem is caused when your cpu gets hot.

Do you think the ram voltage would have anything to do with it? Because my ram timings and speed stay the same, I run unlinked? I have tried linked and sinked with the same problems. Would bumoing the ram voltage +1 maybe solve the issue? They are currently at 2.1v manufacterer recomended specs.
