I didn't read the rest of the posts, but I hope to god they're not the ones who told you to keep upping the Vcore. 1.45V is nowhere near safe. I say sell it without mentioning the Vcore and buy another one. The only good thing about a high VID is lower temps, which is good for 24/7 stock temps.

I personally wouldn't do higher than 1.3625v if you don't want to see chip degradation...

Not worth spending $200 for a dud overclocker.

And I would do at least 10-15 Loops of LinPack (ie IBT) to verify stability, but at least 25-30 loops to verify a final overclock..

Damn, it failed line pack after 6 minutes at 1.45vcore. I'm probably gonna sell it.

1.45v is just too high regardless,

Sell it, don't say how much of a bad overclocker it is, buy Q9550/Q9650

Screw selling it to that lady for $220! I put it on e-bay for $260, and it already has three watchers. I am gonna put that money toward a new q9650. Besides, oem don't have manufacteres warranties, so if I fry an intel retail cpu in my 4ghz quest, then I'll just rma it. Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, this chip has made me lose my sanity....

Seams a bit high to me...

Vid means nothing really, some of the highest clocking chips don't have the best vids.
