Wow that's a rather high absolute max!

And it is true that every motherboard's LLC works slightly differently. I was even told that two identical models can be slightly different (just like CPUs).

I use LLC on my rig. Without it my voltages are too high for my comfort level(which is guite low as measured against others). My take on judicious use of LLC is you are safe even with voltage spikes if you are in the 1.33v range or below. At that limitation the spike that you get will not likely exceed the intel spec limit of 1.3625v

edit: Someone posted a graph on this subject a week or so back. It looks to me like the voltage fluctuations are greater without LLC enabled.

I also use it on Q6600.. Bios set to 1.410v stays @ 1.400v and never under 1.392v load. without it it will drop as far as 1.38v

So I guess we can speak of vRise here.
But the vCore given under load is the same as the value set in BIOS.
So I guess that is good?

Same board,CPU and PSU.
18 x 200 @ 3.6...idle 1.32v, load with LLC on..1.328 same increase lol.
I think I am fine with them (1.32/1.328)volts..at 3.8 it takes 1.38v and for just over 4ghz(19x212) it takes 1.41v which I am not prepared to run at for 24/7 use.

Wow you can do 212 at the BCLK? My motherboard won't even properly POST after I go higher than 205.. Some setting I forgot to make it go higher?
