Default Who here is overclocking their uncore on their i7

I haven't seen much in the way of talk regarding the performance increase of overclocking the uncore; a few benchmarks here and there but nothing else. So I'm wondering if anyone's noticed a difference or tried to push their uncore as high as possible(bclk seems to be a bit more popular). Anyone had any luck running qpi and uncore 1:1 or with qpi lower than uncore? How did you stabilize your uncore oc?

After pushing it a bit too far last night 3dmark scores went down but this could have been because of a lack of stability. Not sure if I could have gotten it stable though!

I think its much more worthwhile ti oc the bclk and use up that vtt getting your mem speed up. Over clocking it does add performance but core is much more important. Max that out first then worry about the uncore

Who says I haven't maxed out my bclk ? Anyway, I couldn't get 2x+1 stable and wasn't even sure it'd be worth it in the long run so I gave up.

Yeah I've done away with trying to overclock anything but the QPI. It's too frustrating and there are too many voltages. + with the base clock I'm running it won't boot at anything over 16x. Oh well.
