Nope not in Alaska, lol. Is it really that good? My room is usually pretty hot. So I should have a really good chance to hit 4.0ghz right? What do you suggest i do next to get to 4.0? Should I try to shoot for 3.8 before i turn up the voltage?

Those are nice temps

Sure. Go for it and see what happens. Your temps are get, just keep them below 65C (I think) and you should be fine. Also, if you want, just increase your vCore to 1.3125 and leave it there as you overclock. Then once you hit 3.8 and your stable at those speeds (which you should be), see if you can knock the voltage down a little. Also, make sure that you set your PLL to stock and bump your termination up just a little to 1.22 or 1.24. Raise your NB to around 1.2. Also, make sure that you set your RAM at its stock voltages as well.

In BIOS commonly referred to as MCH? I will try everything you guys said and let you know how it goes. Hoping for at least 4.0.

I did everything you said to do and for some reason the computer will turn on a start to boot then it just shuts down right in the middle of boot and then restart here are the setting's I had when it did that:

I know I'm probably making a totally noobish mistake, but I don't care. i would really appreciate pointing it out if you can see it. This thing is stable as a rock @ 3.6mhz but when i try to bump it to 3.8 it just doesn't want to do it.

Diesel,I don't think you need that much V-core for 3.8 --Try 1.300V-core---1.24/1.26 Cpu Term ---and 1.24/1.26 MCH Core That should be plenty for 3.8 and maybe 4.00+

edit : your DRAM voltage --are you sure it is @ manu specs? Maybe 2.1?

Edit 2 --PCIe express frequency=100--not AUTO---------I enable LLC

This is the ram I have. I'll do what you suggested and let you know how it goes.

I just did everything you just said and not a change, it did the same exact thing it has been doing. Just shutting down during boot. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong?

Let's start again--Boot into Bios-select Optimized settings-save . Boot back into BIOS -Now manually enter 400x9 --Take the PCIe off of AUTO. When it is on auto it overclocks as you raise the FSB. Manually set it to 100.--Now manually set all voltages to whatever your BIOS indicates. Those that do not comply set @ normal not AUTO.-- Enable LLC --Now there are 4 voltages we are going to work with. Cpu Vcore--set @ 1.30v --CPU Term set @ 1.26v Mch core set @ 1.26V--DRAM V set @ 1.8/ 1.9V--manually set timings to5/5/5/15. Turn off C1E and EIST---Save & enter. This should get you into windows. ---Set the tj-max in real temp & core temp to 100. ---Run Prime

edit: Make sure your ram is not running above the specified speed of 800. It will raise on it's own as you raise the FSB-so make sure it is correct before saving BIOS. If it is not set @ 800 or lower you likely will not boot.

Well I did exactly what you said and it booted fine. Just ran OCCT for an hour and MAX temp was 47*, mostly hovered around 45-46*. It's at 3.78Ghz right now, either later tonight or tomorrow i'm going to shoot for 4.0ghz or higher.
