Default Overclocking Q6600, please help.

Ok, I'm running prime95 and three of the cores run great, but the fourth stops under a minute after starting. What is most likely the culprit? As in what do you think I should have to add to in order to get a stable OC. Do I need more Vcore or NB voltage? Thanks.

If your BIOS settings have it, you could add more Vcore to that specific core.

I don't think my BIOS supports individual cores, but you think it's a vcore issue?

Still failing at 1.325? I would would try a little more vcore first. My vcore is the horrible 1.325, but it seemed like once I passed 3.2 I needed to give a lot more vcore to stable

I think it's pretty darn close to stable at 1.325, so far it's passed 30 minutes of prime.

Good to hear, you can try intel burn test. I usually find that if it passes ten runs, that its usually good.

Got it stable at 3.6GHz with 1.325v on the CPU (1.312v at load) and 1.31v on NB.
