Default max overclock on a p4 2.2ghz?

i have a p4 2.2 ghz, i believe it's the 400mhz fsb version, i have a msi 661fm-l motherboard that supports up to pc3200 ddr. right now i'm running pc2700 & my cpu speed is at 2.93 ghz. am i at the max for the cpu? what's the max i could up the speed without hurthing anything?

Considering its a Northwood, It can overclock untill the load temps hit 55c.
2.9 ghz is a nice overclock man. That low Frontside Bus will kill your super Pi scores.

You can go higher than 55*C, that's not as hot as ppl think, you can go probably to 60*C load.

My p4 1.8 sits at 60 idle and 65 under full load and it's not overclocked
(it's got a realy crappy dell stock heat sink on it)

All the temp readings are good for is telling you weather or not you are running hotter or cooler after your tinkering or upgrade. My cpu goes to 68 and starts throttling only because the temp sensor is reading too high, it never errors out with prime. I believe if your computer is stable, then its doin just fine.

i'm pretty new to this... what is the avg temp readings i should get?
