Was looking around at Guru 3D and found this app Intel Burn Test that stresses your CPU more than prime95, apparently. *Thought* cool. So I stopped prime (was running about 3 hours with no errors) and loaded up Intel Burn. My computer Blue Screened right at the start of the second phase of the test, this was interesting because I ran prime95 for 18+ hours before with similar settings, same CPU voltage, FSB, NB was lower by .06v and same SB voltage and passed.

I raised my NB by .02v (1.28v) and ran the tests again. My rig lasted a Full two minutes from the beginning of the second phase of testing before it blue screened! I had the plan to keep raising my NB until it passed (up to about 1.34v max), but then thought that was a bad idea lol. I haven't seen a temp for my NB, don't know of a program that reads it and don't want to kill my MOBO faster with a high NB setting. My CPU can take the .1v with my current HS and I should be fine temp wise when I get a new better HS for a quad.

Third time's the charm A' I raised my CPU voltage (reluctantly) by .1v and lowered the NB from 1.28 to 1.24v. Ran Intel Burn and passed

*edit* 4got to add my OC spec's.

CPU Multiplier: 8.5
FSB: 400
CPUv: 1.18
RAMv: 1.9
NBv: 1.24
SBv: 1.2

Going to lower my NB by .02 until unstable. Tonight I'm going to run prme95 while I sleep, guessing it's going to pass...

Zalman CNPS9900

Yeah, you will have to buy a fan for it.

I am not sure about that Zalman... looks like more of the same. Not a fan of their heatsinks, but that is just me.

I have to say I'm disappointed with my Zalman's performance. It wasn't designed for a quad but I'm still disappointed lolz. What fan are you running with your Prolimatech?

Just an update, been lowering my NB and got down to 1.22 stable in Intel Burn, going to run prime95 tonight then memtest86 tomorrow night.

Now I need to figure out how I can pass this 400MHz FSB bottleneck. I need to OC my RAM but when I change any setting from Auto I can't boot. I can't even plug my stock timings in and boot.

As you can see my temps are a lot hotter in Intel Burn than prime95 (the description at guru3d.com warns you about higher temps), seemed to get hotter the more times I ran it lolz.
