Default E8400 4.5Ghz on Air!!!

I finally decided to mess around some more in the BIOS and push my E8400 after learning so much by just searching and reading so much around these forums.

After an hour of changing a bunch of things just so I can boot into window 7 after so many BSOD's , I finally made it.

So far it's stable enough to do a few things and I will attempt a run of Super Pi 1.5 shortly!
I put my 4.5 Ghz validation into my sig, just click the got proof thingy to check out and here's a screenshot.

I'm 99% sure I will fail Prime95 if I run it, and probably with a BSOD.

The final changes I made to be able to boot into 4.5 was 1.39vcore in Bios, and I played with the fine tune Clock skews or w/e you call them:
900mv
700mv
150ps
50ps
What the heck do these things do anyways?

Nice

You could have some very nice suicide runs with that proc.
Don't be afraid to go 1.45v trying to get stable.

I have an E8500 (or maybe its a E8400), I tried OCing with a Gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3R MB, and Cosair TR3X6G1333C9 DDR3 ram (2GBx2) with no stability at all. My PhenomII 955 is OCing far better.
I must be doing something wrong, dont know how the heck ya'll hit 4ghz on air with these.

Thanks Guys!
I BSOD while trying to make my 2nd post, a couple of minutes ago.
I upped my vcore to 1.4v

I was trying to post a closeup pic of CPUz and the super pi run.

1M @ 10.6 seconds beasted my previous best of 4.2Ghz 1M run @ 11.3 sec.

I'll mess around some more tomorrow to get it prime95 stable. I'm off to get some sleep.

Very nice, the most I could get out of my C0 was 4.4 @1.45 unstable. The temps were never good either though I suspect my temp sensors are biased to the high side quite badly.
