Default Need a hand: E8500, UD3p 4.4GHZ

Hello people. Im new to this forum and new to overclocking. Iv'e been reading up on it for about a week or so. Ive read the super popular "how to overclock cd2, c2Q" guide.

I have a decent handle on the main principles, I feel, but have a few questions I'm hoping you guys can answer. Also, Im at 4.4 in windows but not stable under load and would like some suggestions please.

Setup:
e8500 @ 4.4GHZ 1.36V cpuz
Gigabyte UD3P Bios F8
2x2GB G-skill 6500
Xiggy S1283 and Lots of case fans

41 idle
73 load

I havent tried to get anything under 4.4 completely stable yet. I kind of figured I would start as high (safely) as I can and work down to the maximum overclock that I can get stable for 24/7. Right now my temps are high for full load.

Intel burn test fails after about three to four minutes and BSOD.

My voltages are near the maximum safe levels that Ive read about or so I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My goal is to get the highest safe 24/7 overclock I can.

heres my (BIOS, not ET6) settings:

MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
Robust Graphics Booster ...............: Auto

DRAM Termination .…0.900V............: 1.05v
Channel A Reference 0.900V............: 1.05v
Channel B Reference 0.900V............: 1.05v

I have a feeling that some of these voltages are pushing the safe thresholds.

If my ram is under the factory spec of 533, does it rule out the possibility of unstable ram?

I haven't a clue about adjusting the ram timings.

My goal is to get the highest safe 24/7 overclock I can.

Hopefully, this can get this 4.4 stable and less warm. My temps are a touch higher than I want.

So, I'm not sure where to go from here.

Thanks for any help

Temps are high. Have you tried 9.5 multi?

yeah, Im at 9.5

right under the multiplier is "Fine CPU Clock Ratio". its at .5

How do the voltages look?

Lacking? Too high in places?
