Im currently trying to break my current clock of 3.4ghz and I cant get anything stable over it. I am trying right now to get a 3.6ghz clock with these settings
VCORE: 1.26v FSB: 1.3v It seems that always 1 core will fail on prime 95 while the other cores are running fine. My question is it not enought volts? My other thought would be that my memory is holding me back, its OCZ sli ddr2 800. The thing is I was at a 1:1 ratio without overclocking the ram by going to 3.4 would it hurt any to OC the ram to 850Mhz or would that even help with stability?

^ Shouldn't need that much. Im running my Q9550 @ 3.6 at 1.22 (stock) voltage.
Stable on prime 95 for 3 hours. Gonna let prime run overnight tonight. To OP, that RAM might not OC well. I had OCZ gold before I got my G.Skill kit (got it today) and I couldnt go past 3.4 for the life of me. I was constantly getting bsod with the ram even clocked slightly to ~825.

probably going to have a hard time getting much higher than that with a Tuniq Tower also. If you have the E0 stepping 9550, you might, but the C1 just runs too hot for it to be stable (most likely)
__________________try a different RAM divider, even if it means you have to underclock the RAM for the time being. Modern RAM isn't like it used to be - the speeds it's publicized to have are pretty close to the max it's capable of *most* of the time.

OP do this. Ram speed should not be a problem with Nvidia chipset motherboards.
