Hey, I've over-clocked my system and the Post shows the overclock speed, and when I right click my computer and go to properties, it shows the over-clock speed, but when I use ANY Benchmark Software
__________________Cpu-z, CPUID- PcVantage, They all show the same thing that its running at my stock rates... Now I did use Prime95, and it said my procs were running at the OC rate... Who Do I believe? Is this because I'm using Windows 7 64 bit? I've downloaded the correct benchmarks for Vista 64 bits figuring they would work... Any Suggestions? Thanks -Nate

Go into bios and disable intel speedstep and C1E because they underclock your cpu when not under load to reduce temps. Once disabled your cpu will always run at your set speed and it should show in CPU-Z right

Did you also disable C1E because it more or less does the same thing as Speedstep.

Can you post exactly what cpu-z is displaying, what right click properties computer says and what your OC specs are? This is interesting, the software might be getting confused by your multiplier

When running prime 95 does CPU-z change or does it still stay at stock values? I think some sort of CPU energy saving option is on because in the CPU-z picture the voltage is at your oc value

Windows display the stock speed, then the OC speed. Sometimes it will display the wrong OC speed too.
CPUz will sometimes display the stock speed, if the ini file is modified. Look for the : "Sensor=1" line, and make sure it is not a "0" but a "1"
