Default asus eee 1000hd cpu speed for celeron m 353

i recently bought a asus eee 1000hd with a intel celeron m 353 and i use the super hybrid engine to set the cpu to super performance mode, and cpuZ reads the clock speed at 960mhz, is it possible to overclock the cpu speed farther, im not saying i WANT to, but im just curious as to if the cpu can be clocked farther

also i was reading that the dothan m clereon processors were a underrated cpu as far as its speed, wheres as the lower 900mhz 353 in some areas out performed the atom cpu at double its speed? any truth to that?

No, I don't think you can overclock pre-built PCs/laptops.

Yes, you can.

You need SetFSB, and the PLL number for the 1000HD

I was able to get my EeePC 900 to 1.2GHz, 100% stable, and it's got the same CPU.

The Celeron M is Dothan Pentium M with only 512k cache. It's the precursor to the Core line and is about as fast, clock for clock, as the original A64, or much faster clock for clock than a P4 or Atom.
