Ok everyone, I have an E8400 and according to bios, it is ocd to 3.5 right now. When I start CPU-Z, it reads it as stock 3.0. Can anyone tell me why this is? I am overclocking my sig rig fyi.

Make sure you have turned speedstep and/or C1E off.

I looked for that stuff and I didn't see it. I have the latest AMI Bios if it helps. There was a setting of EIST or somthing, and I disabled it because it said CPU speed controlled by OS.

I set my vcore to 1.275 so I don't think voltage is a problem.
