I'm not an intel person but I have read reviews about the 965/975 and most of them say 'Buy the 920 and just overclock it, because buying this is a waist' and I'd assume its true. I have seen numerous CPU-Z validations of 4GHZ on air since i've been on this forum. I honestly think you should sell the 965 and get the 920.

Enjoy the 965 while you still have it.
You bought it with a reason, and for such an expensive CPU. I doubt you didn't do any research.

PS, my C0 has problems with 3.8ghz so not every I7 is so great.

I specifically said that the any D0 will be able to reach 4ghz easily, I never said anything about the C0. They don't even produce the C0 anymore though, you can find a D0 at any Microcenter for $200.

I see what you are saying, and it all falls apart when you consider the price difference. Are you considering keeping the lower voltage because you're afraid of damaging the processor? If you went with the cheaper one you wouldn't have to be because you could buy 3 of that processor for the price of the i7.
