Default Is this Normal???? Stress test and drops in speed during?

OK, i havent done a stress test fully yet.

I had it started with 4 workers. and curiousity came into play.

I opened up my CPUZ and saw that it was down to 2400 core speed (when i am idle it is at 3600 x 9 buss speed 400 Rated fsb 1600, Core volt is 1.408)

ok so again, when the test (prime 95) was running i saw that the speed was down to 2400x6 *** is up with that? and how can i correct it, or is it normal.

I would rather know now b4 i start my 6 hour test. is it supposed to drop the speed and multi's? or should i stay (my thoughts is it should stay but i am noob so i need help)

can anyone tell me if it is normal for it to drop 1200 in the core speed while the test is going on? or do i need to up something? and if so, what and by how much? (i am assuming voltage somewhere)

Ok , so i have kinda moved on a little bit, since i dont like not doing anything.

So i started the prime95 test again with Realtemp running as a partner. I am at heat up phase 40% temperature is 56 57 52 52 (core 1 2 3 4 ) BUT the Core speed dropped again to 2400 x 6, everything else is the same.

i love answering my own questions. WWW. is a great thing

disable anything in your bios containing c1e thermal throttling or speedstep. Cpuz should then show the correct speed without clocking down your cpu to save power.

and please wait 24 hours before bumping your own thread. People need time to respond.

Also I would go to your vcore and specify your own settings. When left on auto it will jump substantially.

But heres the thing. C1e and te other one are disabled.. the thing is. this is running backwards. on idle i am 3600 x9. under load i am 2400 x6, this isnt supposed to be, this is completely backwards. I am under FULL load as we speak, and it is running 2400x6 that is how it is supposed to run on idle. not under load.. so why would it do Powersaving underload and not idle???????? i am so confused.. its been 5 hours of this. i finally thought it was stable when i finally saw it at 3600 x9 400 1600 @ 1.424 CoreV, ( i think the Voltage can actually come down on the core) but is this the powersaving still?? i only disabled the two i was told to b4
