Yeah i would have to say the 955 keeps up, but even overclocked.. it's not much better then a stock core i7. While a overclocked i7 leaves it in the dust.

I wish i could too, i had limited time before i had to ship the rig to my cousin (he asked me to build it and overclock it for him, sucks i couldn't o/c much since he couldn't fit a aftermarket cooler into his budget). It's fun to see how a budget rig fairs compared to more expensive gaming rigs tho!

I love this board too, the bios is very very extensive, tons of options. I hadn't had time to test for max bclk my board is capable of. But 4.35ghz HT on is pretty sweet imo. I could probably stablize a 4.7ghz with HT off.

I didn't quite believe it at first when i saw claims that HT would have a negative impact on games, so i had to test for myself, boy.. did HT off make a difference.
