Intel Overclocker

Hello OCN!
__________________I have a Biostar motherboard (P4M900-M4, Socket 478) in my HTPC. Trying to overclock and see how far it goes ![]() It doesn't let me choose voltages. But I can get 2.4GHz with stock, (1.5v) anything over is unstable. Is this a good overclock for stock voltage? I'm running cheap Samsung RAM from my Dell , would changing the RAM to something like Crucial make the system more stable? Or is the voltage limiting the OC ![]() Thanks!

The voltage is limiting the voltage, buying new RAM will not do anything
I dont know how much is the stock clock so there is no way of seeing if its a good OC

Yeah i agree with the above, you need to increase the voltage, there MAY be a way to unlock it but then you might have to use a program to change it or something

Yeah 400MHz increase is not bad without out change to the stock voltage, but I agree with the above. If you can't change the voltage in the BIOS, try using a software OCing app to up it a bit.
