This crash you're experiencing is probably caused by an unstable overclock, but that's certainly not always the case.

Maybe you have the MCH Core a bit high

I usually do 25 runs of IBT, takes around 11 minutes.

Just ran 25 passes of Intel Burn test on maximum. It passed. As soon as I rebooted and tried running it again it crashed. That's what normally happens. This CPU may be jinxed.

That's strange. You passed, rebooted, ran it and crashed? Don't know why that happens.

Off topic but I'm happy that I passed this today:

I could probably lower the voltage a bit and still be stable, but that's for tomorrow.

I'm a huge fan of the Intel Burn test. I don't understand why anyone would run a stress test on a CPU for 8 hours like on Prime 95.

I for one don't have the time or patients for that kind of test.

Intel Burn test FTW! It works great if not better then Prime.

...completed 5x loops on 'standard' at sig'd settings...attempting to reduce voltages and re-run now..

I say if yiou have a 64-bit OS and you can max out your mem (set it to maximum) and run it for 25 tests, I say your stable. But I have done 250 runs before, and that there says something.

I usually do at least 20 runs on maximum stress, because doing it on standard does not mean anything.
