Default Got my new celeron 330 D at last now o/c'in

Finally got my 330 D (2.6ghz) celeron today, ive had a go at overclocking and managed to reach 3.5Ghz before upping the voltage, i didnt go any more as i dont have a good bench testing tool yet and im on stock cooling,

25.c room temp
35.c idle
42.c load

Il post some pics and see how it goes in about an hour

Well all i can say is im gutted, i thought i was gonna get further than that! lol,

@3.5ghz things were getting unsteady (see pic 1)

@3.3ghz all is ok and im happy (ish) (see pic 2)

i think it would be possible (3.5Ghz), a better heatsink would help along with further tweaking,

Well i opened all the programs you see on the desktop, (made sure you can see them all) pressed Print screen key (next to the F12 key) then opened up paint and pasted it in there, save as .jpg and tada!

Im guessing your memory is what made the system unstable. I have that exact cpu on my sons computer clocked at 3.4 compleately stabile, on a crappy p5p800s and 2x 256mb standard pc3200, so try lower the timings to 3-3-3-6 and put 266mhz and you will probably find it running just fine again at 3.5ghz+. Im planning on finding out the limits this weekend, but unfortunately my idle temps are at 42C already at 170fsb on stock cooling
