Sorry if I make any spelling errors. I am used to Firefox and the spelling check I switched to google Chrome..Anyways what I was wondering is what does cpu reference means. I was able to find out what Cpu termination voltage was but what I keep finding is the the reference has all different types of names.
Edit And to possibly answer two questions in one thread What does cpu skew mean? I never knew what that meant. I never did research on it yet but if someone can help me get me on the right foot. Thanks in advance I was able to answer my own question on skew: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=602375 good article right here if anyone is interested

Where are you reading this 'cpu reference'? It most likely means reference speed, which is the FSB on socket 775s and QPI on socket 1366/1156.

I believe "reference" could technically be anything, although cpu reference is just vCore. Reference just means the base voltage to which you are adding +mv.
I may be grasping at the empty answer-shaped space here.
