Just going for a simple 24/7 overclock at 3.6ghz

Running prime 95 with an i7 920 D0
During the 3rd to 4th test "blend" in prime 95, the pc just crashes and had to power on/off to get it back up. idle is 39 to 45 with this on a true black push pull , load at prime 95 is 79 max after 1 hour

Here's the settings on the asus rampage extreme 2 bios
ram is corsair 1600 dominator c8d

vcore 1.2375
voltage pll - 1.86
qdi/dram voltage 1.35
dram bus -1.64
dram frequency - 1603 mhz
pcie freq - 100
speed step - off
ht - on
ioh voltage - auto
cpu spread spectrum disabled
bclk - 200
cpu ratio - 100
ram settings - 2nd information , 2n (it crashed at 1n as well)

Is there any setting problems here ?

Vcore 1.2375? Is that bios or windows? You may need to increase cpu voltage one notch up.

You should be able to run the QPI lower than that, just has to stay within 0.5V of dram. I would set your ram to 8-8-8-24 2t timings till you get your cpu OC solid, drop the cpu pll back to 1.80, QPI at 1.24V & try it there.
Cpu vcore will vary, just watch the temps if you try raising it more.
