Default i5's Turbo mode performance questions

My question is can you have Turbo mode on while increasing all the voltages and such?

I read Turbo mode helps increases performance. Does anyone use turbo mode when overclocking the i5 CPU? Does affect your stability when overclocking?

Thanks!

I doubt it.

Most reviewers left Turbo on, and most people on these forums with i7's left Turbo on when they did 5Ghz

Is there any others out there with core i5 using Turbo boost? What settings do you have your core voltage set at?

How do you have your i5 set up? Thanks.

Turbo boost doesn't work when you overclock the base clock. But you get to keep the nice multi.

That depends on the individual overclock I think. It was easier for me to find the absolute max totally stable OC before I switched the puppy on. Simple fact when you OC, anything that raises clock/Multi/Voltage can make an otherwise perfectly stable overclock unstable. It also makes more sense to get a stable OC across all 4 cores rather than just 1 or 2 that Turbo Mode allow i.e. a stable 3.8 Ghz overclock across all four cores is better than 3.6 that becomes 3.8Ghz on only one core when turbo kicks on.
