Problem solved!

Increasing FSB & MCH Voltage did not help.

The problem was the memory like i suspected.

The FSBRAM ratio was set to 1:1 & that was why system freezed when runing Orthos blend test.

I updated the Bios to the latest version F9.

Now its set to this in Bios:

Robust graphics booster= Auto
CPU Clock Ratio= x7
CPU Host Clock Control= Enabled
CPU Host Frequency= 460MHz
PCI Express Frequency= 100MHz
C.I.A.2= Disabled
System Memory Multiplier: 2.40
Memory Frequency= 1104MHz (Overclocked)
DRAM Latency: 5-6-6-18

System voltage control= Manual
DDR2 Over Voltage= +0.25V
PCI-E Over Voltage= Normal
FSB Over Voltage= Normal
MCH Over Voltage= Normal
CPU Voltage=1.40000V

FSBRAM Ratio is now 5:6

The system is stable at 3.22GHZ now.

I tested it with Intel Burn Test & had no errors,so i can say its STABLE!

So now how can i get higher to 3.4GHz or more?

lol i cant even get this cpu to go over 3ghz stable. its still not stable at 3 even. but it can boot and play games.

i think its my memory. i cant overclock it really well. or maybe my p5k se board

Strange,now when i run Memtest86 after 7 minutes i get errors,but when in 1:1 ratio its ok,but the system freezes after some time running Intel Burn Test or Orthos Blend test.

Is it ok if i leave it like it was on 1:1 ratio?

The Memtest86 runs fine without any errors & Small FFT torture test for CPU runs fine too,only when running the blend test it freezes.

I just tested it on default settings.

2.33GHz 333x7

Robust graphics booster= Auto
CPU Clock Ratio= x7
CPU Host Clock Control= Disabled
PCI Express Frequency= Auto
C.I.A.2= Disabled
System Memory Multiplier: Auto (1066MHz)
DRAM Latency: 5-6-6-18

System voltage control= Auto or manual

System froze or reported errors when running Orthos or Intel Burt Test.

Then i went into Bios again & changed the memory SPD & Latency.

2.33GHz 333x7

Robust graphics booster= Auto
CPU Clock Ratio= x7
CPU Host Clock Control= Disabled
PCI Express Frequency= Auto
C.I.A.2= Disabled
System Memory Multiplier: 2.40 (800MHz)
DRAM Latency: 5-5-5-18

System voltage control= Auto or manual

Like that set in the Bios it was ok in the tests.

But when i OC it:

3.22GHz

Robust graphics booster= Auto
CPU Clock Ratio= x7
CPU Host Clock Control= Enabled
CPU Host Frequency= 460MHz
PCI Express Frequency= 100MHz
C.I.A.2= Disabled
System Memory Multiplier: 2.0 (920MHz)
DRAM Latency: 5-5-5-18

System voltage control= Manual
DDR2 Over Voltage= +0.25V
PCI-E Over Voltage= Normal
FSB Over Voltage= Normal
MCH Over Voltage= Normal
CPU Voltage=1.3500V

The system runs fine in MemTest(over 8 hours) & Small FFT test(over 8 hours),but freezes when in Blend test mode or Large in-place FFTs.

I think its the memory latency causing this.

How should i set the latency at 920MHz?

Should i try lowering the last one from 18 to like say 12?

Ok now i have changed the latency from 5-5-5-18 to 6-6-6-20 & set the Static Tread value to 10 & managed to raise the FSB to 486MHz so the CPU is now at 3.4GHz!!!!

Ill raise the FSB some more to see if i can get up to 3.6GHz.

I read that some guys with same MB had it run at 510-515,will see how far i can go,maybe i get lucky.
