I have a problem with overclocking my E6550 CPU.
__________________My PC: CPU:E6550 MB:Gigabyte P35 DQ6 RAM:Corsair Twin2X4096-8500C5C (2X2GB DDR2 1066MHz) I have overclocked it to 3.36GHz but after some time 15-20 minutes running Prime 95 the system freezes. This is how its set in Bios: Robust graphics booster=Auto CPU Clock Ratio=x7 CPU Host Clock Control=Enabled CPU Host Frequency=480MHz PCI Express Frequency=100MHz C.I.A.2=Disabled System Memory Multiplier:2.0 Memory Frequency=960MHz DRAM Latency:5-5-5-18 System voltage control=Manual DDR2 Over Voltage=+0.25V PCI-E Over Voltage=Normal FSB Over Voltage=+0.10V MCH Over Voltage=+0.10V CPU Voltage=1.42500V Whats the problem here?

Try raising the MCH and FSB voltages to +0.20v.

When i set the System voltage control to Auto it was stable for over 3 Hours.

Can the memory latency cause problems & make system to freeze?
__________________I can set it to: 5-5-5-15 5-5-5-18 5-6-6-18 Does anyone have the same PC as i & had the same problem? Please help.

I have changed some parameters in Bios & run Orthos.

FSB voltage is too low, or is that a typo? Your DDR2 voltage is also too low, it should be +0.3v (which makes it 2.1v). If that all still doesn't work, you need to raise the CPU voltage.

The DDR2 voltage is set to +0.25V which makes it 2.11V!

I have tested my CPU with Orthos with Small FFT torture test to see if its stable or if it needs more voltage.
__________________After 8 hours of testing the CPU everything was ok,no errors. Then i started Memtest86 to test the memory. Its been 5 Hours 30 minutes now & no errors, the memtest86 is still running. This is strange but when i run the Blend test system freezes after some time. What is causing the system to freeze?
