Default Help. Undervolting i7 720QM (Asus G51j)

I've been trying to undervolt my laptop for quite sometime now. I've used RMclock but doesn't work. I get it up and running but I don't get the advanced cpu settings tab nor do I get a voltage reading. I have no clue why I don't get a voltage reading.

*side note* is there any way to unlock the bios?

in general on laptops, no you cant unlock the bios. if ur trying to get a cooler running system/longer battery life put it on a balanced power plan. dimming the display definitely gets you more time. use windows mobility center for that.
also you should still be able to get in a limited bios, mine has a setting called "Battery Optimization" which is basically like Intel Speedstep (lowers multiplier/voltage) when its unplugged.
i hope any of this helps, gl

I'm not trying to sound rude, but shouldn't you have thought about that before you went and bought easily the hottest running mobile platform available.
