Pull the actual cmos battery. I failed an OC and my pc did the same EXACT thing. I tried the cmos reset button, no luck. Left it off for 30min then came back with a fresh mind. I then moved a few wires that were hiding my cmos battery, pulled it out (pc power was disconnected from the psu and it was off already), waited 30sec, popped it back in, bam pc booted.

I kinda skimmed the thread, if you did pull the battery my mistake. I highly doubt you fried your i7, what was the voltage btw?

The hdd's and everything will spin up if the cpu is dead. Again, I think it is the cpu.

ok it was OC of 3.6Ghz (i know very small) the voltage was on 1.18, and the temp when running prime was 86C (at peak) i hear the reason it may be that high is because of all my RAM

Yup, I know on my mobo it was perpendicular to the mobo, but on others its parallel. Just make sure the pc is off and power is disconnected. Its the sure fire way to reset the bios.
