forget the "what to lower rais" that is for me to find out.. but isnt the temps alittle high? I will try a reseat tomorrow and see if that helps.. then try to get more air into the cooling block.. if nothing helps I will stay at 2.8 (if 76-78 isnt too bad) since I only do 5 runs in IBT (will do more tonight) I cant rly say if it will go up anymore :S but seams stable at around 76-78..

For now I wanna thank you all for your help!!!

Temps do seem high so a reseat is in order. Good luck and report back with more results.

Reseat your cooler. While that isn't much over the thermal spec you want to keep it below 72c. With those temps, I wouldn't try for 3.0 till I got my heatsink reseated and try get those temps down a little bit. You have plenty of headroom for voltage, but not with the temps right now.

What is your vcore according to cpuz when you run IBT? (Vdroop)

That is a huge Vdroop. So you are set to 1.344 vcore and 1.288 thats almost a .06 vdrop. Due to this, you may be able to find a pencil mod for your board to reduce the amount this changes your vcore when you put your CPU under load.

Once you get those temps worked out, you have a good margin to increase to acheive 3.0. Cause effectively you are running 2.8 with 1.28vcore, making hitting 3.0 with probably around 1.31vcore after load.

Ok, I've tested this myself and its working fine.
Changed the resistor value to 1580 Ohms.

Before VDROOP:
BIOS 1.5250V - IDLE 1.5V - LOAD 1.39-1.4V
Q6600 3.6Ghz Unstable and hot

After VDROOP:
BIOS 1.4875V - IDLE 1.45V - LOAD 1.41-1.42V
Q6600 3.6Ghz Orthos Stable

The vDroop is still there with 1.58K Ohm but it's much better! Maybe lower resistance would help, but a little vDroop is fine for me
This sounds risky.. Im guessing I have to change the resistor manualy? or the resistance changed by software? :S

I reseated my profile.. no changes rly..
Added more air on the side of the profile.. droped to 60-65 under IBT 5 runs 2.8GHz (70-75 before)
