Default OC help EP45-UD3L + Q9550

Hey people, I'm trying to OC my Q9550 to 4.0 GHz 500FSB on a EP45-UD3L.

I set vcore to 1.31V and it can't pass one cycle on IBT.

Suggestions?

You can set your CPU voltage as high as 1.36. Where are the rest of your voltages. You'll need to raise your MCH and the others also.

If I set voltage to 1.36 I'll get temps to 72șC on IBT

I'll set the other voltages.

I guess UD3P works like the same.

72c on IBT is absolutely FINE.... yes thermal spec is 71.4 or something but they mean 24/7 but because you'll NEVER see temps that high in anything but IBT you're good to go I had to go up to 1.36 to hit 4048Mhz (most likely because of out of tune GTLs..... )
Anyway turn up the volts and let that sucka fly

You'll see a myriad of settings for your board that you can try out.
Make sure you read a lot of the posts.
The guys there are pretty much the most experienced UD3-X overclockers you'll find.
Good luck
