Default i7 920 max temp when folding

ok well i am folding i am at 4GHz and well i have been folding for about 35 minutes now using the bigavg smp with VMWare and i am keeping an eye on my temps and it doesnt seem to go past 71c so am i good? and what is the max i can go i have read 80 but i am not sure any help would be appreciated

For 24/7 temps, like folding, I wouldn't go above 65, but I'm pretty conservative when it comes to temps. As long at it doesn't stay at 75-80, it's fine. What's your voltages like?

Those temps look fine, though a bit high. What about the i7 at idle?

If it were my chip I'd try to keep it at or below 65C. Mine's running at 58C right now so I'm going to dial up the OC a bit next week when my fans get here.
