Reduced the vcore voltage to 1.29v got it 2 hours stable in prime but realtemp still gives a reading of 86 - 92degrees on 100% load

The H50 isn't an amazing cooler, although It's above average. If you're planning on OCing that puppy way up there, you should be getting a real water-cooling setup.

Dunno about that. There are plenty of people including myself overclocking the i7 on less than an H50.

Um, I'm using an H50 and never get above 65C using intelburntest... may want to reseat.
Edit: At my 4.61 OC I was hitting 85C max with 1.525 vcore. With the H50 you get better temps for the CPU by setting it up as intake with a push-pull setup, fan>rad>fan. Hope this helps. Edit 2: Take your QPI down to 1.35 if you can, you shouldn't need it that high for 4.0, and your ram can probably hang at 1.66 also. Manually set your DRAM and UCLK to their lowest settings also. It will make the CPU OC easier and take less voltage. Also puts less stress on RAM for now. Once your CPU OC is good, then start messing with the RAM. Lemme know how it goes!

Enable VDroop (Load Line Calibration), Set Vcore to around 1.28-1.3v, Ram to 1.66v or 1.64v, QPI at 1.35v, CPU PLL to 1.88, IOH & ICH to 1.2v, put your bclock at 191 and multi at 21x, 6x ram and 36x QPI. Disable spread spectrum and C1E. I will almost guarantee this OC to work with any decent batch i7 chip. You may have to raise your vcore alittle alonge the way but other than that you should be set.
__________________Use Intel Burn Test for testing run at maximum with 8 threads (not auto) and monitor your temps. It is also true that there are some bad batch 930s out there, maybe you got lucky tho.

I know I got one of the first batches since I bought my 930 on 2/14 hehe. I love it so far. It seems to use a tad more vcore than the 920 but thats not a big deal to me since it seems to be the same chip for the most part.
