I would like to see what this chip will do for a maximum and stable to two instances of Prime running for 24 hours.
If it can make over 3.2 then I am impressed. R

@mailman : I'd get the DS3, It Is a solid overclocker so far. Though We havn't seen much about the 975x.
@rippon: Everything (mobo ram cpu) cost me 500 even. And thats with 2nd day shipping. I ordered my chip and mobo from Mwave, and I ordered the G.skill at newegg. @Ropey: 3.2 dual prime stable 6hrs + . I guess i'll try 3.25 while i'm at school.@option: I'll be running more benches tonight since I now have it prime stable.

I've heard the Northbridge chipset gets ultra hot on that board. Have you seen any of this? Have you modded the Northbridge at all? R

@ Ropey, well I updated the dual prime pic and now i'm looking to the northbridge issues.
Has anybody found a good monitor that will reconize this board? Speed fan doesn't have a config for it and the gigabyte monitoring system is a pos. BTW, I havn't done any mods to this board.... yet...

I'll be going with the DS3 myself. I was going to shell out an extra $100.00 for a P5W DH Deluxe, but found out the max FSB speed is 420

@ Waxshop: Lol.. i'm still working on it.
BTW for anyone who is interested still, I have been having a little bit of a problem or so. So far I have changed Bioses to F4C, I'm clocked at 3.0 right now and stable. I had to start from scratch. I have also done a V.dimm pencil mod so it boots at 1.9v. I have also done a V.droop pencil mod. ATM, my voltages are stock @ 3.0ghz and I have my Vmch at stock and fsb voltage at stock.
