I think I've decided I want the Gigabyte DS3 board instead of the Asus P5B since they are the same price, but after doing some reading, the Gigabyte will do a higher FSB. Thanks for all the comments, hopefully I'll be able to get the money together soon and get my parts bought. I'll keep you posted.

The Ds3 may work if you don't plan on clocking it too high. Mine is having instability issues when i get into the 400's. Right now i'm running at 390 and slowly testing stability..Because these days Sp2004 for 9 hours doesn't mean its stable.

Really? I was reading somewhere else on this forum that someone had theirs up to 480 with no problem, but the Asus P5W I think was sticking around 420.

Which RAM would be better for this board? The OCZ runs at 667 which is standard but the Corsair runs at 675? Would it still work?

OCZ

Corsair

One more thing...does this board support regular Ultra ATA (IDE) hard drives or do you have to have a SATA drive for it to work?

It has 1 IDE connector on the board. So i think you should be fine.

Yeah, but wouldn't that 1 IDE connector be used for CD/DVD drives? Then leaving only SATA ports for hard drives?

EDIT: Nevermind - I downloaded and read through the manual for the Gigabyte board and you can connect one optical drive and one hard drive to the same IDE connection on the motherboard since the IDE cable has 2 connections on it.

Thanks all. I'll post with some pictures and such if/when I get my parts all together in another 2 weeks.
