Hi all,
Been thinking of building a Core 2 Duo rig since I will have just enough money but the end of August. Here is what I was thinking, I just need some suggestions for a motherboard. Not sure about the Asus P5B - anyone had any experience with it yet? Do you live in Ottawa? I buy from PCCYBER too. You should also consider the Gigabyte DS3 ($175.00) or the P5B Deluxe ($245.00).
LOL, you're also buying the exact same ram I want.

I don't actually live in Ottawa but not far away. I buy most of my pc stuff there too. I have looked at the P5B Deluxe - just trying to save some money with the P5B non deluxe. Thanks for mentioning the Gigabyte DS3, that looks like a nice board as well. I have normally had good luck with Asus though, never used a Gigabyte board.

yea im thinking the same build well almost im going with the E6300 and the Asus P5B but diff ram and vid card but yea.. most ppl here would say the gigabyte board oc's better cause more ppl used it and ocd with it i cant find a single review on the net on that P5B board... it seems solid i guess though. but trying getting some PC2-6400 ram with like 4-4-4-15 timmings or close, that would be much better.

You can overclock that ram to 4-4-4-8 with DDR2-850 @ 2.1V (Nasgul)
