Alright guys, today I'm aiming for 3.0+, I can easily get there, I just need to know what I do with my FSB, do I lower it. Or do I keep it going up and up the FSB voltage.
Stats: Voltage: 1.312v (Haven't changed) Mem Voltage: 2.1v (Can be set to: Normal, +0.1V, +0.2V, +0.4V.... +0.7) FSB OverVoltage Control: Normal (Can be set to: +0.1V, +0.2V, +0.3V) (G) MCH OverVoltage Control: Normal (Can be set to: +0.1V, +0.2V, +0.3V) ![]() ![]() There are a few other options of course but none I thought should be mentioned.

Well to get to 3Ghz you need to av you FSB at 428, can your mobo handle that, it should be able to

Just get the HD555's.

Slowly change your way up to a 429 mhz FSB speed.

Increase MCH as you go up, that will ensure stability to your board. Disable HyperPath3 if you have it. Make sure that you increase dimm too, as it might not be enough on stock voltage

Alright guys, I've gotten my oc up. All I need to do now is raise my FSB Voltage.
I've decided that 3.0 is as far as I'm going to go for a while. Seeing as my timings are 4-4-4-12 and I don't want to loosen them for CPU speed. I don't think 500MHz will add be equivalent to +1-+1-+1-+4 for timings. E6300 @ 3.01GHz ![]()

I don't know if I agree with that. The timings aren't a huge deal, and who knows how much more you can squeeze out of that CPU. I think you should at least try to get more out of the CPU with or without changing the timings.
MCH voltage, Vdimm, and FSBV could all be raised for stability, just keep temps in check.

Timings apparently don't affect the performance of the Conroe that much.

C'mon Source, crank that baby up all the way, screw the divider or timming. You'll want all those Megahertz for "Team Core"
