Default When I boot up PC turns off, then turns itself on.

Is this normal? I read where my Asus board does a "stupid power cycle thing" and was wondering if this is what it was..

When I push the power button on, everything comes on (lights, fans and hard drive and CPU, all that good stuff) but then turns off w/i 2 seconds. then 2 seconds later it turns back on and proceeds to boot up completely normal. What is this?

My CPU is overclocked by the way.

Yeah even mine does that. Usually also screen won't come out of standby until second boot. I always thought that was odd to but it didn't concern me since I saw no performance hit.
I also just quit turning it off except to clean

yeah, when you get a high OC i think, but that doesn't mean it doesn't perform well. it's one of the best boards. all it does is take, what 15 more seconds to boot?

Yes, it happened when the CPU was overclocked but with the 0711 BIOS that problem is no longer present. The people at ASUS recognized the bug in the previous BIOS version and now it's fixed.

Mine used to do that but no longer and I know how annoying it is the part of booting-pause-rebooting. So update your BIOS to the 0711, just go to the ASUS's site.

True My P5B-D did it until I re-flashed to 0711. Now
