Talking Running 4205 Again!

Got waterclocker back in action after the motherboard gave up and the WC loop needed service. Check it out--a 1.2 ghz OC running a Nidec BetaV undervolted to 5V and a NAPA Transmission cooler LOL. This is my original Watercooled Conversion and I am still using it on a daily basis...this is the first time in a while i have had waterclocker properly tuned up and ready to roll along at 4205mhz...

I am trying out some nice RAM from Lenzo--DDR600 2 x 256...still finding the limits of the RAM...it runs great.

This is the rig that started me Folding in a big way. I have always run it overvolted and overclocked to some degree--and until an unfortunate schmelting accident was running at 4205mhz Folding on Corsair Value RAM. Currently running Othos at 4040 Vcore 1.55 VDimm 2.85 RAM at DDR540. Going to let ORthos run all night to get a solid 4 GHZ OverClock proven and then start Folding Onwards. It's about 28 F outside so WaterClocker should me very chilly indeed.

I prepped the boards with silicon and wiped down the case to somewhat alleviate the effects of the Winter weather. We'll see how it holds up this time.

Default Some Pictures

Got everyting re-assembled--that's a $29.99 transmission cooler from NAPA--the acrylic shroud behind it forces the air from the fan out the side of the case.

Another angle--I am using the first generation "D-5" style pump and it has about a full year of run time and is still going strong.

Filled, leaktested, run in for about an hour and ready to jump into action.

And back in action.

Lian Li PC7Aplus. I gutted it and mounted the SATA RAID array in the top two bays and put DVD burners in the lower bays.

Specs:

P4 3.0e
Asus P4P800SE
2 x 256 DDR600 G SKill (2.5 3 3 8)
2 x WD250 250 GB SATA150 in RAID0
CoolMax 450 Watt PSU (140mm fan) Custom Sheathed in UV green
ATI All-in-Wonder 9600
Dlink Wireless G
Storm WaterBlock
AquaXtreme 50Z-DC12 pump
Tygon 1/2" I.D. with CoolSleeves
NAPA transmission cooler
Nidec Beta V 120 x 38mm 130cfm fan undervolted to 5 Volts
80mm rear thermally controlled fan used as intake with acrylic shroud to cool chipset and RAM
80mm blowhole fan (chameleon--changes color according to case temp)
Custom L-shaped window/vent
Acrylic Shroud for Rad/Fan
Lian Li Fan monitor and temp monitor in 3.5 bay.
2 x Cooldrive 3 HDD heatsinks with dual 40mm fans

I pulled the UV tubes out for now--going to upgrade with some fresh ones.
Very happy with this Lian Li case--it has held up for about 2 years now.

It's pretty cold out on the porch--I took this via VNC from the warmth of my media room. The only downside is I can't actually go and tweak stuff in BIOS without sitting out on the porch--and I am a little too woogy to do that.

Default Folding at 4040mhz!

Ran Orthos for a while--found that I could run in Dual Channel with the G Skill--but not in performance mode without errors. Common stuff. Anyway I very pleased with how WaterClocker has come back on the "new" P4P800SE.
Still a very nice machine after all this time.
