Default SpeedFan problem

Hi all,

Just installed speedfan on my new system, all is well with it apart from one thing.

CPU is fine at 28c
Core 0 at 24c
Core 1 at 24c

But this one is odd and i have no idea what it is....

Aux 127c ??!!

Is this a duff sensor? and what is Aux anyway? It doesnt go up or down.... nothing.

Don't bother with that. When Speedfan "thinks" it found a sensor and it actually doesn't exists it replaces the value with 0, -127, +127, -128 or stuff like that.

SpeedFan is known for its anomolies. My Aux reading is 125C...lol. And 1 of my fans is rotating at something like 80,000 rpm...haha... ignore those wacky readings.

You could use several programs to get a "baseline average", such as TAT, Coretemp, PC Wizard, ATI Tool, RivaTuner, et al.

I use SpeedFan for the LCD Plugin on the G15... the reading is off 4-5C, but it is constant, therefore I can still monitor values so long as I know what the error margin is.

Nice huh?... sometimes asking a question on this forum is kinda like throwing a pig carcass into a pool of pirana's....

Ya...TAT is recommended though there are some instances that it does not load...
