So I finally received my system parts and put it togehter last night... thoguht I'd do something simple while I absorb some Overclocking information and run nTunes....
__________________I set it to 20 minutes, one hour ago, and it's still runing and now has my PCIE bus overclocked by 88% from 2500 to 4700, and it's still going! I'm watching my temps at the same time, and the gpu is @ 68C... has this thing run amok? Am I risking damage? Or is my system just so supercool that it's still looking for an overclock stopping point... ![]()

Do not worry, it's normal. I am useing it to set mem timings. It gives you a really good (stable and fast) timings.
That FPU/CPU tuning, forget it, you can have it set mannualy ten X faster and better.

I guess since I have nvidia board (chipset), and nvidia vid card, I just though nvidia software would know what to do with it...
__________________@DonNiger - is there a way to just do the mem timings then? or do I just let it finish it's 20 minute (hah!) tuning and manually override the cpu overclock?

adjust your memory timmings in the bios dont do it in windows, overclocking anything besides a video card in windows is bad.....do your overclocking through your bios its much stablier and safer

I have used it severel times. Still working. Besides, 99% of overclockers are not able to set all the timings as good as that prog does. In my case, it set even lower timings as rated (orig. 4-4-3-9-15-2T.....@900 Mhz, NTune 4-3-3-3-7-1T......@860 Mhz or 3-3-3-3-6-1T ....@820 Mhz). Mem reading changed from 8100 Mb/s to 11500 Mb/s (Everest) NTune and ATI Tool are two different programs which are ment for different purposes. Correct me if I am wrong but PCI-E bus should run 25X100 Mhz. But yeh, that 4700 is incorrect anyway.
