I recently sent my motherboard and RAM from my sig rig to newegg for replacement RMA. I got an email earlier saying that the item was out of stock or discontinued (they didn't say which one) and that I would be contacted soon about what to do.
well I just checked newegg (which is being slow for some reason) and my mobo and RAM are in stock... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131045 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148069 (these were $300 when i bought em!!!!!!) So im not sure which part it is that is "out of stock" so suggestions for both would be nice as i have been out of the loop for quite a while now and not sure what is good these days. Could we stay around the price of the items i sent back...

That ram is still the best around but honestly save some money and get the DDR2-800 version of the ram. As for the mobo, I have owned a P5B-Deluxe and a DS3 1.3 and I got better OCing results on the DS3 1.3 which cost me only $110 shipped so I highly recommend it.

This?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16813128042R Because I really don't want an open box motherboard.

unless I am mistaken, wouldn't that mean that you couldn't get crossfire? (only one PCI-E 16x)

Well it is the RAM they don't have anymore, so they offered to replace it with this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146114 But I'm wondering if I take a refund for $270 and then buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565 But I don't know where the refund is going to go. If I ordered all the parts on the newegg preferred account will it go to that? Then how do I use that money to order stuff?

So if they were ordered with the preferred account, how can I check how much money I have credited after I buy a couple of things?

I suggest you get in a live chat with a newegg rep to get better answers.

Well I sent an e-mail last night regarding the status of the credit on the RAM and if my motherboard had been sent out yet. I received an email saying I was gonna receive a comparable replacement not a refund
![]() So I sent an email back saying I wanted the refund not the replacement. It hasn't been shipped yet so I might have caught it in time. *** happened to, if we don't hear from you in 3 day's you'll receive a refund. They don't hear from me and send me a replacement!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()
