Hello,
__________________I have an HP laptop w/ intel core solo t1300 with the speed of 1.66GHz. Lately it have been downclocked to 997 MHz when I checked the speed on cpuz and system's information. Anyone knows any kind of spyware or software that did this? Thank you.

its a laptop it does it to save battery life and run cooler it runs full clock when you put a load on it. You can turn it off by changing the power profile to desktop always on.
