Default New Intel Rig(2,500 Budget)

I originally had 3 grand but i spent a bit on my 226BW LCD and Creative Inspires...

What is the best PC I can get for my price range when used with an Antec 900, since I already bought options for it.

I need everything, including DVD drive, coolers, Windows Vista 64bit, ram, Quad core cpu, GPU, PSU. Add the Antec 900 as well since I don't actually own one. I want a really big HD... maybe 2 in RAID as well.

Why would you spend that much??? It will be worthless in a year. I built my system for around $800 seven months ago. I am going to get a Q6600 and 8800gt for about six hundred and still cost less than half of what you want to spend (after i ebay whatever i dont use). Let me guess you got you student loan aproved or something...

Oh and get the g skill 1000 4gb of ram its 189 at the egg.

Nice, but...
1) get the Q6600 from Clubit, so he's guaranteed G0
2) If you plan Crossfire, get an X38 board like this one. You'll have full x16, x16 bandwidth.
3) Get the DDR2 1000 kit (2x2GB) for just a little more
4) I'd personally go for GTX's in SLI... and if you go Crossfire, see mobo under 2)
5) Silverstone OP750/DA750 is better (by a hair) than the Silencer, and a little cheaper. Plus, the DA750 is modular, which is a major plus with his Antec 900 case.
6) The WD AAKS Series is about 10% faster than the 7200.10's. and a little cheaper.
7) He's planning an Antec 900. Imo, either case is somewhat smallish for a high-end Crossfire/SLI rig.
8) Never get the Xtreme Audio. Might as well stick with onboard. Xtreme Gamer is the minimum.
