Today my friend bought new ram for his Dell. He told me he was having some trouble installing it, and wanted me to help. I came to his house and he asked me "How the hell to you get all this ram inside your hard drive?" I was rolling!
![]() He actually tried to take apart his hard drive in the process. What are stupidest PC questions anybody asked you? |

I once had a friend call me up and tell me that he wanted me to install his heatsink. So I came over to his house and he showed me a brand new Tuniq Tower, fresh out of the box. Very nice. Anyways, he brought out his computer (which, for the record... didn't exactly require a tuniq tower) and I started to tear it apart in order to get the bracket on the back (pulling out the existing heatsink, mobo, processor, etc.. and he starts freaking out, asking me why the HELL I am taking apart his computer. I tell him it is to install the heatsink... So he shows me that he already prepped the computer.... at the top side of the computer case he has drilled 4 holes so that he can put the heatsink at the top of the computer case, in order to remove heat from the entire case.
I promptly left his premises.

I remembered a another situation where I came to my friends house and his mom asked me to take a look at their family computer to see whats wrong. I open the case and the woman slaps me straight accross the face. She thought I broke her computer by opening the case door.
