all pre built pcs have their bios locked so you can't overclock, but there is a way around this and it is called clockgen but be warned overclocking through software is not the ideal way

alright, so i have configuered Clockgen and CPU-Z correctly. However im still running into a problem. I have chosen the correct PLL type, but when ever i Select Apply selection in the PLL Control window the values are set in that window. Now, when i click on the clock button to show the real time speeds of the computer. They have not changed from the factory default. It still reads 2933Mhz. It doesnt change even with the slightest incrament.

any advice for me?
