Hi Guys
Just finished ordering the main parts of my new build...should be here in a few days but I still haven't decided on the cooling setup.I'm used to air setups but this time I'm going with a water setup and have chosen the Zalman Reserator XT but I need advice on how to cool the two GX2's. Does anyone know how to do it? What blocks I should get? Sorry but I'm a total WC noob! haha One more thing...I'm after a case too. I just saw the guy who has 2 x 9770's and 2 x GX2's (http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/3097...astmaster.html) and he has a sweet looking case. Any ideas wha case it is? I want Ta Joe

You'll never get anything but substandard cooling from the Zalman. If nyou have not bought it keep researching.
There are no dount a few MFRs that will produce blocks for the GX2. I would stay away from any except all copper baseplates. Anythin in contact with the fluid needs to be copper or brass...period. Zalman is aluminum covered in anodizng. Sure death to your cooling loop if the anodizing fails (and it usually does). Copper and Aluminum are like two polar extremes in ionic attraction: they want to Do IT with each other so bad theyu'll tear themselve apart trying to bond...never have them connected physically or in liquid or you have just made a primitive battery.

I foolishly bought the zalman reserator II once to try and cool my QX6800 when it first came out....got rid of it after 2 weeks.
Custom watercooling all the way.

There's only one waterblock I know of for 9800 GX2, but it's ugly and probably performs worse.
Really it looks like we will have to wait for the good ones to hit the market, no doubt they are already in production. Always the same with new releases though, took ages till a decent 8800 GTX block came around.
