Hey guys! My computer started to crash by a restart or blue screen of death everytime i open up a game,
and not even like a big power hunger game..i dont know whats wrong, when it blue screens it says something wrong with the GPU, but i cant think what could be wrong since it used to be run perfectly and id play games like call of duty 4 with almost maxed and never crash..yet now it started to crash on mmo's which as u all know not as graphics hungry. Could you pls help me out? Oh and could it be becouse of my PSU that its not getting enough power, cuz i just switched to my 2gb set of ballistix..and idk if its them or my PSU that cant really support it. PLS HELP! for specs look at my rig! if ayone will help i will be REALLY thank full!

So you had no issues... switched ram... and now have issues?
Pretty easy to say that you should run memtest86+ for a few hours to check your ram..

BSODs almost always are caused by either 1) Damaged/defective RAM DIMMs or 2) bad RAM settings.
Run MemTest86+; if you're the impatient type, run Test 5 for at least five passes, and Test 8 for at least 3 passes. I recommend running through the whole suite of memory tests at least twice, at minimum. Run both DIMMs together, one DIMM at a time, and testing all your DIMM slots as well to rule out all possibilities (damaged DIMM slots). Good luck!

I am about to run the memtest, but before i do, one thing could it be that its my psu? because when it crashes it says GPU failure..and my ati catalyst keeps "RECOVERING" from VGU failure..so just checking

Make sure you have the voltage, speeds, and timings set to the factory defaults before testing, as well as any overclock set to stock.
Alot of motherboards set the wrong the wrong voltage, speeds, and timings for ram and you have to set them manually... but if they are all correct and you get any errors you should RMA the ram. Possible but it also could be that your ram is corrupting your OS, causing the drivers to fail.

Hmm i just checked something..before when i started up COD4 it crashed..after 30 seconds in to the game..i set my memory settings to stock and now it runs smoothly and no crashes or as it did before it woudl be really slow in loading things..now even tho the memory timings are higher it runs faster..thank you all! Im going to run the memtest just in case tho..and if i get an error or something ill post it here! THANK YOU! =D i love Overclock.net!
