Well WD has an advanced rma that allows me get the new one first then ship mine. I have mine off and hoping i can just plug it and the new one into another comp and copy straight over. Then send the broken one back.
and i doubt it was overheating, tried 2 gpu's and 2 cpu's that had diffents heatsinks so...
