Default B-day upgrade!! really need some help

Hi guys, its my B-day on July 5, and i got some saving money i would like to spend on my system... well i got tangles in so many choice and i need you guys advises badly ... my head is going to burst!!!

Well I am going to get the kick ass 4870 ( this option is for sure ), and maybe go crossfire later on but not soon ... so here come the problem, basicly i am worries that my current system might not be best to handle the new card from ATI so here is some of my though of updating:

-- Consider that i am going for ATI and crossfire when have the money ( but not soon! maybe not until December.. ) should i sell the 88GTS 92 and the current use main board to go for the P5E x38??...

-- OR should i keep the mainboard, sell the VGA card plus the E6750 and buy the Wolfdale 8400/8500 ( which is better ), is this gonna prevent some bottleneck problem ?? my friend told me that the E6750 is not right for the 4870 and i need some thing better like the wolfdale

This problems are driving me nuts... please help me out quickly. Some explanation on your choice would help much better...

THANKS ALOT

But yes, overall, people need to look at this from the perspective of a business and not of an enthusiast. I look at many of these posts and say to my self, "And that type of thinking is exactly why you're not running the business..." lol

you aren't going to get a huge difference going from your e6750 to a e8400. Either one will be fine for the 4870 imo.

I agree, your 6750 at the clock you are running will be fine. Sell your GTS and get the 4870 if you want to join the red tide!!

If your going Xfire later you will have to get a new board so get the new Gigabyte DS4 X48 later on when the price drops below 200.
