I also would recommend waiting for the 4870x2 to come out and see how great it is and also see how Nvidia responds, I think the GTX 280 might be a very attractive value card in a few weeks. And I really think that case is a waste of cash, if you are going to do watercooling I would get a silverstone tj07

I'm going to test things out with no sound card at first, then I'll grab one if I think I need it.

As for the hard drives, many people only want theirs filled half way. Performance starts to deteriorate significantly once the drive is more than half full. Either that or people just go crazy and think they need way more than they do.

Dont thinks so..
Performance is between 2 non RAID 0 drives and A raptor.

of course, if u have the money get 2 raptors in raid 0.

By the way, What cooler do you have for the q6600.?

before you answer, let me suggest 1. its about 65 dollars.. but its worth every damn penny.
